A water main break was causing problems across Bethlehem’s southside on Monday, including at nearby Lehigh University and Wind Creek Casino.
Crews are working to fix a 16-inch break near 3rd and Hayes streets.
Nearby Lehigh University reported low to no water pressure on and off campus due to the break, and Northampton Community College’s Fowler Center closed early because it had no water.
Wind Creek Bethlehem also reported some impacts on the casino side, but no impacts for its hotel side.
So far, there’s no timeline for when water service will be fully restored.
